The Freeride World Tour has officially confirmed the 2026 YETI Xtreme Verbier for Saturday, March 28, where this year’s champions will be crowned on the legendary Bec des Rosses. View this post on Instagram A post shared by FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance (@freerideworldtour) ONE FACE, ONE DAY, EVERYTHING DECIDED Rising above Verbier at 3,223 meters, the Bec des Rosses remains the ultimate freeride test: a 600-meter vertical drop packed with tight couloirs, exposed ridgelines, and cliff zones where hesitation isn’t an option. Slopes reach up to 51 degrees. At this level, runs aren’t improvised; they’re visualized and executed. TITLE RACES STILL WIDE OPEN With no clear favorites heading into finals, everything is still on the table. On the women’s ski side, Sybille Blanjean leads the charge, with Lou Barin and Zoé Delzoppo right behind. The margins might look comfortable on paper, but Verbier has a way of rewriting everything, one run could do it. On the men’s ski side, Toby Rafford holds the top spot, but Ben Richards and Ross Tester are close enough to turn it into a three-way fight. On the men’s snowboard side, Victor de Le Rue sits in control, but Liam Rivera and Sacha Balicco are still right there. And on the women’s snowboard side, Mia Jones leads a tight field, with Noémie Equy and Anna Martinez in it going into the final. Different disciplines, different margins; but the same reality across all of them: One run on one face in Bec.
