Detailsinfo
A vulnerability was found in wpjobportal WP Job Portal Plugin up to 2.4.8 on WordPress and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the component Parameter Handler. The manipulation of the argument radius with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
The WP Job Portal plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'radius' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.8 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
The weakness was disclosed by Leonid Semenenko. The advisory is shared for download at wordfence.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-4306 since 03/16/2026.
