Status of Xanadu Strawberry fields and Alternatives Ask Question Asked today Modified today Viewed 12 times 2 Xanandus Strawberry fields package for photonic QC is advertised in their website. However, the GitHub project was last changed in 2022 and is archived. The documentation says they are no longer accepting pull requests for new features. There is some activity in the forum and occasionally an issue on the GitHub after 2022. But I can't find any statement about an EOL. Do they just no longer add new features and don't see the need to update parts? Or is strawberry fields a legacy package? Is there an alternative that is actively maintained? Is eg. Pennylane a proper replacement? What package for photonic QC is 'modern' or should I use if I get into it in 2026?
