UPDATED 18:54 EDT / JUNE 16 2025 SECURITY CrowdStrike launches Falcon for AWS Security Incident Response at re:Inforce 2025 BY DUNCAN RILEY CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. today unveiled a new incident response service for Amazon Web Services Inc. customers that offers cyber protection from the CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform at preferred rates in the AWS Marketplace. Announced at the AWS re:Inforce 2025 conference, the new Falcon for AWS Security Incident Response offers AI-powered incident response and is designed to help organizations respond to incidents faster, reduce risk and strengthen their cloud security posture. It does so while providing joint customers significant cost savings and an integrated security workflow, all managed within existing AWS environments, according to the companies. The new offering seeks to assist with the growing speed and complexity of cyberattacks that CrowdStrike says now outpace traditional response efforts, particularly in cloud environments. The Falcon platform detects 96% more threats in half the time and investigates incidents 66% faster than other offerings, significantly improving the ability to stop breaches. The Falcon platform doesn’t replace the existing AWS Security Incident Response’s automated triage and investigation workflow, but instead complements it to create a solution that spans the entire security incident lifecycle. The bundled offering gives joint customers streamlined procurement while adding to their overall security posture through AWS infrastructure. “Speed is everything in cybersecurity. When cloud intrusions spread at ever-accelerating speeds, organizations can’t afford to wait hours – or days – for help,” said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. “Falcon for AWS Security Incident Response puts the proven protection of the Falcon platform into the hands of AWS customers the moment they need it – making AI-powered incident response faster, smarter, and more accessible than ever.” Hart Rossman, director of security incident response at AWS, said that “integrating CrowdStrike’s AI-native Falcon platform with our enterprise-grade security services at optimized pricing through AWS Marketplace” creates “exceptional value for our joint customers.” CrowdStrike offerings, including the new Falcon for AWS Security Incident Response, are available in AWS Marketplace. Customers are said to benefit from the CrowdStrike Falcon platform while leveraging the security, reliability and operational excellence of AWS infrastructure.
