MUSCAT: Shaima bint Juma al Hashmi, Cybersecurity Lecturer at the Muscat Branch of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), has won the 'Cybersecurity Woman of the Year 2026' award during a ceremony held in the city of Feldkirch, Principality of Liechtenstein. The award was presented under the auspices of Liechtenstein's Minister of Home Affairs, Economy and Sport as part of the global awards programme organised by the International Cybersecurity Alliance, with the participation of leading cybersecurity experts and specialists from around the world.
