May 29, 2026 • Anne Aarness - Chris Prall • Endpoint Security & XDR CrowdStrike has once again been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Endpoint Protection. This marks the seventh consecutive time we have received this recognition, and for the fourth time in a row, CrowdStrike is positioned both furthest to the right for Completeness of Vision and highest for Ability to Execute among all vendors evaluated in the report.1 We believe this placement reaffirms our pioneering vision and execution, and demonstrates how our unified, AI-native platform is uniquely designed to stop today’s most sophisticated threats. Organizations must modernize security operations to face an increasingly complex threat landscape shaped by AI. Agentic applications are becoming more widely adopted and  introduce a new high-privilege attack surface. Securing them requires deep runtime visibility and control across endpoints, which we have delivered for more than a decade through the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform. As AI and autonomous agents proliferate across enterprise environments, the endpoint has become the definitive control point for modern security. CrowdStrike pioneered endpoint detection and response (EDR), and we believe this recognition from Gartner proves our unified platform is best positioned to define cybersecurity’s next evolution of AI detection and response (AIDR). Figure 1. 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Endpoint Protection Endpoint Is the Epicenter: Innovation for the AI Era Today’s AI agents often operate directly on the endpoint with elevated permissions and minimal human oversight, posing a significant challenge for many organizations' security architectures. In order to limit the blast radius of compromised devices, credentials, and autonomous actions, organizations must be able to enforce continuous zero standing privileges (ZSP) for both human and AI identities. Permissions designed for legacy workflows cannot be governed at machine speed without ZSP principles in place. CrowdStrike enables this AI-era security model by enforcing dynamic, risk-aware access controls designed to operate at machine speed, fortifying identity security on the endpoint as a growing number of identities puts organizations at risk. From our endpoint foundation, CrowdStrike secures where work happens with robust browser protection across managed and unmanaged devices. CrowdStrike Falcon® Secure Access extends runtime protection directly into the browser to secure agentic activity where it increasingly operates. CrowdStrike also delivers unified visibility across shadow SaaS with CrowdStrike Falcon® Shield, as well as cloud infrastructure to help organizations govern and secure AI systems, data, and agents wherever they reside. With specialized CrowdStrike® Charlotte AI™ agents to automate investigations and response workflows at scale, CrowdStrike empowers security teams to stop breaches at machine speed. These capabilities demonstrate our commitment to innovating and protecting the future of endpoint security as technology and adversary techniques continue to rapidly evolve. Securing Agentic Applications As agentic applications increasingly execute actions on and from enterprise endpoints, organizations require deep runtime visibility and control to safely adopt AI at scale. CrowdStrike sensors on endpoints around the world currently detect more than 1,800 distinct AI applications running on enterprise devices, representing nearly 160 million unique application instances across our customer base.2 These agentic applications execute terminal commands, modify files, access sensitive data, and trigger downstream workflows autonomously. Their behavior is often indistinguishable from legitimate user activity. As the critical intersection where human intent (prompts) meets AI execution, the endpoint must be rigorously defended. By anchoring security directly at the point of execution, CrowdStrike delivers the deep visibility, control, and real-time protection needed to face today’s threats. The comprehensive protection delivered by the Falcon platform helps ensure organizations can confidently reduce AI-driven risk, protect against the abuse of legitimate tools, and outpace adversaries trying to exploit the AI attack surface. A Customers’ Choice for Endpoint Protection In our opinion, the most meaningful validation comes directly from the organizations we protect every day. With 97% of customers willing to recommend the Falcon platform, based on 800 responses as of November 2025, CrowdStrike stands out as the only vendor named as a 2026 Gartner® Customers' Choice for Endpoint Protection Platforms every year since the report's inception.3 We believe this consistent customer trust year after year demonstrates why leading enterprises worldwide choose CrowdStrike to secure their businesses. CrowdStrike secured another critical technical validation in the recent 2025 MITRE ATT&CK® Enterprise Evaluations, where we achieved 100% detection and 100% protection with zero false positives in MITRE's most demanding cross-domain platform evaluation to date.4 We believe this recognition from industry analysts, independent testing firms, and the customers who rely on our technology daily validates our continued innovation in endpoint protection.
