COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WSMV) - A surgery center in Maury County alerted its patients to a recent cyberattack, which is making it difficult to access medical records.
The Columbia Surgical Partners announced on Wednesday that its parent company was hit by a “ransomware attack,” and the clinic is “unable to access our electronic medical records.”
The clinic is run by Advanced Diagnostic Imaging (ADI), out of Nashville.
The surgery facility did not provide a timetable for when the issue would be resolved, but reported that it was being addressed.
The Columbia Surgical Partners specializes in general, robotic and breast procedures, and has two other locations in Pulaski and Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
