Danny's behaviour was exposed during the final episode of MAFS 2026

We're not sure what shocked us more on Married At First Sight, David Momoh dumping Alissa Fay during their final vows and walking off or Bec Zacharia getting completely blind sided when Danny Hewitt told her, 'There's doubt in my mind if you're my soulmate as a lover.'
Savage.
Bec walked off and broke down in tears before telling the producers she wanted to leave ASAP (we don't blame her tbh), but then she was stunned AGAIN during the final commitment ceremony when she got to watch Danny's confessionals with producers.

'I'm looking for the woman who is going to be the mother of my children and I'm just concerned that there's not enough chemistry between me and Bec for it to be that,' he said on their honeymoon.
As well as saying his sexual attraction to Bec was a 'three' (on a scale from one to 10), he also described her behaviour during the Grass is Greener challenge as an 'ick' and 'repulsive' before adding, 'I'll never fall in love with her during a month with a Sunday.'
However Bec and the rest of her co-stars were further shocked when Danny's final unaired interview with the producers was shown and he said, 'The future without Bec would be bright, do you know what I mean?'

'After this there's going to be women queuing up for me. I won't be able to walk down, they'll be throwing their panty hoes at me so either way it's going to be alright,' he said while laughing.
After the clip ended, his co-stars described the scenes as 'hard to watch' and 'heavy' and even Bec said, 'There's a lot of ugly in what we've watched today.'
However MAFS fans, that's not it because during the MAFS spin-off show After the Dinner Party, even MORE unaired scenes featuring Danny came to light.

It's not known if Danny was aware that the cameras were rolling - because the production team were setting up in the background - but either way, he didn't hold back during the final week of the experiment.
'You're telling me that's the best you can bring me? You want to be ashamed of yourselves MAFS do. I can f--king walk in Coles [an Australia supermarket] and get a better bird than that, f--k me.
'I gave up my life to be here, I’ve got a f--king cushy little life. I gave up my life to be here and I could roll up to Coles right now, walk up to aisle four and there’s a bird in there — she’ll be better than Bec. Can’t be no worse, it’s impossible,' he said.

Danny went on to say, 'F--k me. Sh-t, so sh-t. To the execs watching this, you’re f--king shit at your job. Bring me better women.'
And then, reflecting on Bec's behaviour at the Grass is Greener challenge, Danny added, 'You can do that if you're a 15 out of 10, and she's not. F--king annoying.'
Now though, Danny has spoken out about his behaviour and apologised to Bec and Stephanie Marshall - the latter bride after he told her 'I can't be f--ked with ya', 'f--k off with all due respect' and 'you're blocked sweetheart' as well as calling her a 'f--king little skank' in unaired scenes after the final dinner party.
'What's going on everyone? Just wanted to jump on here and have a chat. I'm sure most of you hate me, I don't blame you, I hate myself so join the club,' he began.

'But I just wanted to jump on here and just apologise for some of the comments I made, all of the comments I made, on Stan's After the Dinner Party show.
'Horrendous. I'm so ashamed of myself. Obviously I wanted to apologise to Steph for the way I spoke about her – and Bec, of course. I'm so sorry to both you girls.
'I do have a very dry sense of humour and sometimes it can come across wrong, especially on TV, especially to people who don't know me.'

He went on to say, 'I'm not here to make excuses, or blame it on a sense of humour, or anything like that.
'I'm here to own up to my mistakes and just apologise.'
Danny has since deleted his Instagram account but ahead of the final episode, Bec posted about her experience and said, 'I came here for love… but I left with something far more valuable, I learned to love myself.
'I gave this everything, and I’m damn proud of that. But I’ve realised not everyone deserves access to a heart like mine.'

She went on to say, 'So while you chose to walk away, I chose me. Stronger. Wiser. Unshakable in my worth.
'I know exactly what I bring to the table now. Onwards & Upwards MF’s ✌🏼.'
While we doubt we'll see them hanging out any time soon, Bec has sparked recoupling rumours with another groom.
WATCH: So it turns out the MAFS commitment ceremonies and dinner parties take HOURS to film 😳
