French cybersecurity startup White Circle today announced raising $11 million in seed funding from multiple angel investors.
Founded in 2025, Paris-based White Circle has built a platform that functions as a control layer for AI, unifying safety, evaluation, and optimization.
The AI control platform monitors all AI inputs and outputs to identify risks such as hallucinations, harmful content, prompt injection attacks, abuse, and model drift.
White Circle performs scans based on organization-defined policies, enabling security teams to monitor and understand AI model behavior, secure agents, and control them.
The solution can identify sensitive customer data leakage, can block AI agents from performing malicious actions, flag and ban abusive users, and identify model failures. It also enables security teams to enforce policies.
According to White Circle, its AI models improve over time, becoming more accurate. With support for 150 languages, the platform can be used across global products.
The startup will use the fresh funding to accelerate product development, hire new talent across the US, UK, and Europe, and expand its customer base.
“Until now there’s not been a platform purpose-built to monitor AI’s behavior, catch it when it goes wrong, or shape how it acts. With White Circle, we’re finally giving companies everything they need to hold their AI accountable and optimize their models in a single place, without sacrificing security, compliance or risk,” White Circle founder and CEO Denis Shilov said.
