Announced at Make it in the Emirates 2026 with Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government and UAE Cyber Security Council Chairman, plus Shukri Eid, IBM Gulf, Levant and Pakistan General Manager. Strategic co-creation platform unites stakeholders The Innovation Center establishes a distinctive collaboration hub spanning government, industry, academia, and global partners, merging technology, expertise, and policy frameworks to realise UAE’s AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation vision. It accelerates responsible AI deployment, fortifies cyber resilience, and enables trusted digital evolution aligned with national objectives while enabling IBM to deliver technologies, global knowledge, and ecosystem partnerships to UAE/regional clients. Core focus areas build national capabilities Priorities encompass talent/capacity development, emerging technologies, governance/trust frameworks, and solution creation: co-developing AI/cybersecurity/advanced digital skills nationally; exploring AI, intelligent automation, advanced cybersecurity; crafting governance matching national/global standards; pursuing localised solutions for regional/international markets via ecosystem go-to-market strategies.
