Detailsinfo
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in OpenClaw up to 2026.3.30. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the component Environment Variable Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a invocation of process using visible sensitive information vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-214. A process is invoked with sensitive command-line arguments, environment variables, or other elements that can be seen by other processes on the operating system. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains an environment variable leakage vulnerability in SSH-based sandbox backends that pass unsanitized process.env to child processes. Attackers can exploit this by leveraging non-default SSH environment forwarding configurations to leak sensitive environment variables from parent processes to SSH child processes.
