Detailsinfo A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in udamadu Inquiry Form to Posts or pages Plugin up to 1.0 on WordPress. This vulnerability affects the function check_admin_referer. The manipulation of the argument inq_hidden with an unknown input leads to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-352. The web application does not, or can not, sufficiently verify whether a well-formed, valid, consistent request was intentionally provided by the user who submitted the request. As an impact it is known to affect integrity. CVE summarizes: The Inquiry Form to Posts or Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in version 1.0. This is due to missing nonce validation on the plugin settings update handler, combined with insufficient input sanitization on all user-supplied fields and missing output escaping when rendering stored values. The settings handler fires solely on the presence of `$_POST['inq_hidden'] == 'Y'` with no call to `check_admin_referer()` and no WordPress nonce anywhere in the form or handler. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via a forged request that tricks a logged-in Administrator into visiting a malicious page. The weakness was published by Muhammad Nur Ibnu Hubab. The advisory is available at wordfence.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-6293 since 04/14/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. There is no information about possible countermeasures known. It may be suggested to replace the affected object with an alternative product.
